The role of this portal is to save the basic details of the students such as age, contact details, educational qualifications, and others. All the schools have a unique code through which the registration process is completed. The login credentials are provided to the headmaster of the school from where the credentials are distributed to teachers and students accordingly.
Here is the process for EMIS’s new school registration.
Step – 1 – Visit the Official Website of EMIS and click on “New School Registration” to proceed with the registration process.
Step – 2 – Here. You need to enter the asked details such as school name, email, management, and others.
Step – 3 – Click on Submit and proceed to complete the registration process.
After the registration of the school is done, the headmaster of the school is provided with complete detail through which the teachers and students can also get the option to access the portal accordingly.
After the registration process is complete, users can go for EMIS Login.
Step – 1 – Go to the direct login page of the EMIS platform by clicking at https://emis.tnschools.gov.in/.
Step – 2 – Provide the username and password that are provided after the registration process.

Forgot Password – EMIS Login
In case someone has forgotten the password for EMIS Login, there is an option to retrieve it.
Step – 1 – On the login page itself, there is a link for Forgot Password on which you have to click.
Step – 2 – On the next form that comes up, you have to provide your username.
Step – 3 – Next, select user types from Teacher and Others.
Step – 4 – Click on Submit to proceed and retrieve the password.
