EMIS Login at emis.tnschools.gov.in – Educational Management Information System, better known by the name EMIS, is an educational portal that operates under the Government of Tamil Nadu. The role of this portal is to save the basic details of the students such as age, contact details, educational qualifications, and others. Also, the portal has records about the staff working in different schools across Tamil Nadu.

Not just the portal has the responsibility of saving records of students and staff but also it works with advanced technology so that the users can avail themselves of diverse activities such as simulations, online courses, video interactions, and many others.

EMIS – An Overview

All the schools have a unique code through which the registration process is completed. The login credentials are provided to the headmaster of the school from where the credentials are distributed to teachers and students accordingly.

Here is the process for EMIS’s new school registration.

  1. Visit the Official Website of EMIS and click on “New School Registration” to proceed with the registration process.
  2. Here. You need to enter the asked details such as school name, email, management, and others.
  3. Click on Submit and proceed to complete the registration process.

After the registration of the school is done, the headmaster of the school is provided with complete detail through which the teachers and students can also get the option to access the portal accordingly.

EMIS Login

After the registration process is complete, users can go for EMIS Login.

  1. Go to the direct login page of the EMIS platform by clicking at https://emis.tnschools.gov.in/.
  2. Provide the username and password that are provided after the registration process.
  3. Click on Login to enter the profile dashboard successfully.

Forgot Password – EMIS Login

In case someone has forgotten the password for EMIS Login, there is an option to retrieve it.

  1. On the login page itself, there is a link for Forgot Password on which you have to click.
  2. On the next form that comes up, you have to provide your username.
  3. Next, select user types from Teacher and Others.
  4. Click on Submit to proceed and retrieve the password.
