IHIP Portal is a platform that integrates different health programs in the country. The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has taken this initiative to bring together all the health programs under a single platform. The initiative has been taken to counter any kind of epidemic disease that may spread out to the whole country.

The Health Ministry started the Surveillance Program ISDP under the IHIP Portal in the year 2004 to track and identify any kind of fast-spreading disease state-wise. On basis of such statistics, the right parameters can be adopted to tackle the challenge in an efficient way.

The cost of the surveillance is funded by the World Bank for nine important states in India and is supported by the World Health Organization. The remaining states are offered financial support on domestic grounds. The nine Indian States that are funded by the World Bank are West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Uttarakhand.

IHIP Portal Registration

Registration for the IHIP Portal is not done online. In fact, the users who wish to log into the portal need to check with an authorized official of the IHIP Portal or the State Health Ministry to get the registration done. These officials will only register you on the portal and will offer you the login details using which you can enter your profile.

IHIP Portal Login

Only those individuals who have got their registration done through the authorized official can log into the IHIP Portal.

Step – 1 – Visit https://ihip.nhp.gov.in/idsp/#!/ and go to Sign In.
Step – 2 – Type the username and password that you have received upon registration.
Step – 3 – Also, type the captcha code to finally Sign In.
Step – 4 – If the displayed captcha code is not clear, you can refresh it to get a new one.

Forgot Password – IHIP Login

Step – 1 – Individuals who have forgotten their password need to click on the Reset Password link.
Step – 2 – Enter the username on the upcoming page and submit.Step – 3 – Follow the next procedure to reset your password for your login profile.

Things users can do after login

When the user has logged into the portal, there are various elements and activities in the dashboard.

The first is the P form or the Patient form. Here the details of the patients affected by a particular disease in a crisis condition are recorded. This helps in several statistical analyses by the state and the country.

Another important element is that of data entry. The users can log into the profile and go to the Data Entry section of the Dashboard to provide various data that is helpful again in various surveys while tracking disease and finding out a solution.

While you can use the IHIP Portal on your computer as well as the browser of your smartphone, you can also install the IHIP application through Google Playstore on your android device.

Users can make a call to the toll-free number 1-800-180-1104 for various reasons such as reporting a technical glitch in the portal and application, resetting the password for IHIP Login, and many others.
