Kaun Banega Crorepati or most famously known by the name KBC is all set to get telecasted again on the channel SonyLiv soon. Even in the midst of the COVID pandemic, last year the show came up with its 14th season, maintaining the precautionary measures offered to curb the spread of infection. This year again, the whole team is ready to come up with the 15th season.

If you wish to participate in KBC15, you need to register first for which you have to check whether you match their eligibility criteria or not. Here are some of the eligibility factors that you should have.
- You should be either 18 years old or above on the date of registration.
- You should be an Indian citizen.
- You should not have any criminal records or any such allegations against you.
- You should not have any medical condition, physical or mental, on the registration date.

KBC Registration Date 2023
The show or the channel has officially announced KBC Season 15 on 18th April 2023 and announced the registration date to accept applications from interested candidates. The KBC registration will begin on 29th April 2023 and will continue till 15th May 2023. It means the first question will be asked on April 29 while the last question will be asked on May 14.
It is noted that a total of 10 questions will be asked as a part of KBC Registration and users have to answer the question as per the available methods. The first question will be officially aired on 29th April 2023 while the last question will be aired on 14th May 2023. The users will be given 24 hours to send the answer to each question from 9:00 PM to the next day at 8:59:59 PM.
Last year, the registration for participating in KBC14 started on 9th April 2023. So, it was estimated that this year also the registration may start around 9th April 2023. But these are just estimations and the final date will be released by the show itself soon through advertisements on television or on its official website.

How To Do KBC Registration 2023?
The only way to get registered for KBC 2023 is through online means. There are no such offline options that you can take the help of. You need to either register with the help of the SONY Liv application, through SMS, or through IVR. Whatever way you are using, the registration process is absolutely free of charge. Here is the detailed process of how you can get registered using all three options.
- Registration through SONY Liv App
The very first way is to get registered through the SONY Liv application. You can install this application on your Android smartphone device from the Google Play store. Also, Apple users can install the application from the store. One important thing that you need to understand is that you have to wait for the registration ads to start on television because you will get the registration questions on these ads only. Follow these steps to register.
Step – 1 – Install the application of SONY Liv on your smartphone first.
Step – 2 – Now offer your email address and phone number correctly on the application.
Step – 3 – Next, you have to select your age, followed by your gender.
Step – 4 – Now provide your educational qualifications and then your occupation.
Step – 5 – Now, choose your zone from the list of states provided.
Step – 6 – Finally, offer the answer to the question that was asked in the KBC ad coming up on the television in the form of A, B, C, or D.
After you have answered all the questions correctly, you will get a confirmation notification on your screen.
- Registration through SMS
The next most easy way is to get registered through the option of SMS. Please note that only the subscribers of the connections BSNL, Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, and IDEA can send SMS for registration. You will be charged Rs. 3 per SMS. Follow these steps to get registration done through SMS.
Step – 1 – Follow the question carefully asked in the KBC registration ad on television,
Step – 2 – On the SMS body of your mobile phone, type KBC SPACE A/B/C/D SPACE Age in completed years SPACE Gender. So, if you think that the answer to the question asked is A and you are a female of 20 years old, your SMS body should be KBC A 20 F.
Step – 3 – Now send the text message to the number 509093.
You should get a confirmation message soon if your answer is correct.
- Registration through IVR
The last method is the oldest and commonest method through which audiences have been getting registered to KBC since the year 2000. Follow the steps to get your registration done through IVR.
Step – 1 – Call on the number 50525252 from your mobile number. Keep in mind that you will be charged Rs. 6 per minute for this call.
Step – 2 – Next, you have to press between 1 – 4 (A- 1, B – 2, C – 3, D – 4) to select the right answer to the question asked for registration on the television.
Step – 3 – Next, answer the questions that will be asked on the IVR in a similar way such as language and age.
Finally, when you have answered all the questions properly, you will get to hear a thank you and confirmation note.
KBC Selection Process 2023
Just getting registered by answering one question is not the end of the process. There are lakhs of people getting registered to come up to the hot seat. Hence, the show follows a strict format of the selection process to select only those candidates who are truly deserving. Here is the selection process that the show follows.
Step – 1 – The very first step is registration that you have to do this by following the options described in the above section.
Step – 2 – The next step is of confirmation for which you will receive a call and you will be asked 3 questions. If you answer these questions correctly, then only you proceed to the next step.
Step – 3 – Then comes the final call for an audition.
Step – 4 – You have to go up for the audition in the centers either set up in your metro city or in any nearby metro city.
Step – 5 – After getting selected in the audition round, you have to show your documents for verification.
Step – 6 – Next, you have to appear for a test that will be mainly in a quiz format.
Step – 7 – After you have passed through the test successfully, you will have to face the personal round of interviews.
Step – 8 – Finally, you will reach on the chairs for the process of Fastest Finger First in the Mumbai studio where you have to answer the question fastest of all the rest 9 contestants to go ahead for the hot seat.
Step – 8 – At last, you reach up to the hot seat to start the game in front of the host Amitabh Bachchan.
List of Documents Required for KBC Registration
If you are getting registered for KBC 15 and wish to participate in the game, there are some of important documents that you need to show for the purpose of verification. Here are the documents that you need to keep ready for verification.
- The very first document that is also mandatory is the PAN card. This document is compulsory because the team will cross-check details of your bank details and others for the payment procedure if you win the cash amount.
- The next important document is the address proof to prove that you are an Indian citizen. You can offer documents such as your driving license, passport, and your aadhar card for this purpose.
- The next document that you need to provide is your educational certificate to provide information about your educational qualification.
After successful verification of these documents only, you are permitted entry to the next round of the selection process which is the quiz test.

Nice to watch the program. Quite well conducted too.I feel that the questions are a little biased towards North India, particularly the Hindi heartland. The south and east are left aghast. Even there is very little participation from these areas of the country. If it is not really meant for them then please spell it out clearly so that we do not remain with a false hope.
