Eligibility for MVPY Scheme on SSPMIS
Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Pension Yojna is a scheme started by the Bihar Government for citizens who have crossed the age of 60 years. As per this scheme, men and women of the state who have crossed the age of 60 years will be entitled to a monthly amount of Rs. 500 each.
But not everyone can get this benefit of the scheme. There is an eligibility criterion set for the individuals who can avail benefits out of this scheme.
- MVPY scheme is for all the men and women who are above the age of 60 years.
- These individuals need to be a resident of the state of Bihar.
- All the individuals have to provide their income certificate to prove that they are below the average poverty level of society.
- Any individual who has retired from a Government job is not entitled to avail benefits out of this scheme.
- Applicants have to submit all the required documents to prove their income and status so that they can avail payment.
How To Register for MVPY?
People who are above 60 years in the state of Bihar can get registered under the scheme of MVPY at the portal SSPMIS by following these steps.
Step – 1 – Visit the official website o SSPMIS at https://www.sspmis.bihar.gov.in/HomePage first.
Step – 2 – Here, you can find the button of Register for MVPY in Red colour on which you have to click.
Step – 3 – This will take you to another page where you have to provide your details that is District, name, Aadhar, and others.
Step – 4 – After properly filling in the details, click on Validate Aadhar.
Step – 5 – Next, click on Register New Beneficiary from the top tab of the page.
Step – 6 – Again a new page will appear where you have fill in all the details and have to submit this form.
Step – 7 – After the submission of the form, an acknowledgment will appear in front of you that you can download and can get a print out of it.
The application for the scheme is sent successfully and you have got yourself registered for the scheme. Now, the officials will go through the details that you have provided carefully, and then soon you will start getting the benefit of the MVPY scheme accordingly.
Required Documents for MVPY
Along with the application form, the applicants need to upload some of the important documents for the purpose of verification. These are the documents that the applicants have to upload on the portal to get registered successfully for MVPY.

SSPMIS Application Status
After submission of the MVPY application online, you should check the status of your application from time to time. Below are the steps that you have to follow in order to check your application status.
Step – 1 – Visit the official portal of SSPMIS.
Step – 2 – Click on Register for MVPY that will take you to another page.
Step – 3 – On this new page, you have to click on the option Search Application Status.
Step – 4 – First select any one of the beneficiary if from the dropdown list.
Step – 5 – Now provide the beneficiary id detail that you have selected from the list.
Step – 6 – Provide the captcha code.
Step – 7 – Click on Application Status.
Soon, the status of your application will be displayed on the screen in front of you.
SSPMIS Payment Status
As soon as your registration gets confirmed, you will start getting your payment on a monthly basis. You can check the payment status each month on the portal of SSPMIS by following these steps.
Step – 1 – Visit the Official Portal of SSPMIS.
Step – 2 – Scroll down and under important links, click on e-Labharti.
Step – 3 – A new page will open where you have to go to Payment Report to get a dropdown list.
Step – 4 – From this list, click on the link Check Beneficiary Status after which another page will open.
Step – 5 – Now select your district and block.
Step – 6 – From the dropdown list of beneficiary IDs, you have to select either account number or aadhar number.
Step – 7 – Now provide the number depending upon what you have selected and click on search.
Your payment status will soon come up in front of you after this.
SSPMIS Beneficiary Details
The registered users can follow these steps in order to check your SSPMIS beneficiary details.
Step – 1 – On visiting the official portal SSPMIS, click on Beneficiary Status from the homepage.
Step – 2 – Now select your district and block.
Step – 3 – Select beneficiary id from a list available.
Step – 4 – Provide the beneficiary id number according to what you have selected.
Step – 5 – Enter the captcha code and then click on search.
If you have provided all your details correctly, you will get your beneficiary details displayed on the screen in front of you soon.
