UP Election 2022
On 8th January 2022, Election Commission of India has announced the confirmed date of UP Election that will be held in 7 phases. The first phase election will be held on 10th February 2022 while the last phase election will be held on 7th March 2022. The result going to declare on 10th March to check which party going to form the government in the state.
The last election was started from the month of February 2017. It was the Bharatiya Janata Party that formed the assembly in Uttar Pradesh in 2017 under the precision of Yogi Adityanath. Now the tenure of the assembly elected in 2017 is about to expire in May 2022. Hence, the next UP Election is about to take place again soon next year. As per the latest news from Election Commission of India, the election will be held on its schedule without making any delay due to another covid strike in India. We can expect that the next election schedule will be release anytime soon by the ECI.

With some major changes in the parties, it is quite hard to say the actual result of the UP Election 2022. It seems that it is going to be a close war, yet speculations are pointing towards the winning strategies of BJP once again. Yet, the actual results will come up after the elections are over.

UP Election Candidates List 2022
There are two major alliances that are being formed for the election such as BJP, Apna Dal, and Nishad Party came together to create an alliance NDA. Similarly, the Samajwadi Party alliance has come up with several parties together.
On the other hand, Bahujan Samaj Party and Indian National Congress will be independent parties in the election.
Apart from these major parties, other parties are also there participating in the election.
The list of candidates who will be contesting from different parts of UP is not finalized yet and soon will be revealed by the respective parties.

As the preparations for the UP Election are in its full fledge, the citizens of UP are also super excited to choose their next leader. But in order to vote, it is important for all the candidates of the state to see whether their name is there in the voter list or not. Here is the way through which the citizens of UP can see whether their name is on the voting list or not.

Step – 2 – Fill in the form on the screen and submit it.
When the list of voters arrives in front of you, you can scroll and search your name in it.
UP Election Total Seats
The UP Legislative Assembly for which the election is about to take place in February 2022 has 403 seats along with 1 seat that will be nominated from the Anglo-Indian community. Thus, all the candidates from different parties have to fight for these 403 seats and the one achieving the highest number of seats will be declared the next ruling party of the state.
UP Election Opinion Poll
As usual, the UP Election Opinion Poll was released on 7th March 2022 after the voting is completed. As per the Opinion Polls, the experts have a speculation that once again the Yogi Adityanath may rule UP, but as of now it is a long way to go. It will be interesting to see the final results to check that the BJP return to make the government or it will be out from Uttar Pradesh.
