UP e Pass Apply Online at Rahat.up.nic.in – Uttar Pradesh Government has officially extended the lockdown situation till 31st May 2021 with the exemption of few sectors to curb the spread of COVID infection in the state. Keeping in mind the emergency situations that the citizens can have during the lockdown period, the State Government authorities have started the option of UP ePass. Any individual who needs to move out during the lockdown period for any kind of emergency has to apply for the ePass. The individual further can move and reach out to the required destination only with an approved UP ePass with him or her.

Latest Update – The government of UP has officially extended the complete lockdown in the state from 24th May to 31st May 2021 by conducting a cabinet meeting. The schools will be closed till the UP government release the statement. The decision was taken on 22nd May 2021 in view of the daily hike in corona cases.

UP e Pass for Lockdown 2021

UP Government has imposed complete lockdown in the state till 31st May 2021 and has introduced UP ePass for individuals who have to move out during the lockdown period for any emergency activities.

There are some categories of individuals who will not require UP ePass even during the lockdown. These are:

  • Candidates involved in industrial activities
  • Delivery professionals indulged in the delivery of food, medicines, and other essential items
  • Professionals involved in the essential commodities transportation
  • Experts from the medical and health care units
  • Professionals from the operations of eCommerce
  • Crucial services such as telecommunication, electricity, water, electronic media, personal safety services, financial services, and others
  • Patients who have medical emergencies or pregnant women who have to go for their regular check-ups

While these individuals will not require ePass, they should carry important documents such as identity cards to prove their professional, medical documents to showcase their purpose of movement and others.

How to Apply for UP e Pass?

Candidates can apply for UP ePass quite conveniently by visiting the official website of Uttar Pradesh. Here are the important steps that you need to follow in order to apply and obtain your UP ePass.

Step – 1 – Visit the official website of UP Government at the link https://rahat.up.nic.in/.

Step – 2 – On the homepage, you will find the option of ePass flashing on the top tab on which you have to click.

Step – 3 – A new page will open up on a new tab.

Step – 4 – Here, you can change the language from Hindi to English from the translator depending upon your convenience.

Step – 5 – Now, on this page, you will find the option of Apply ePass on the top tab on which again you have to click.

Step – 6 – Clicking on the option will direct you to another page on another tab again.

Step – 7 – Here you have to enter your mobile number to get OTP.

Step – 8 – Provide the captcha code displayed and then click on the option of Generate OTP.

Step – 9 – After you have verified your number by providing the OTP that you have received, you will land up to the page of the application form.

Step – 10 – Fill in the form with all the necessary details such as your name, address, vehicle types, pass area, and others.

Step – 11 – Next, you have to upload your photo and any one of the photo identity proof documents such as aadhar card, electoral card, PAN card, or driving license with size without exceeding 200 KB.

Step – 12 – Check on the acknowledgment box.

Step – 13 – Finally, click on the option of Submit.

You should soon get a confirmation message with a registration number on the mobile number that you have provided while applying for the ePass.

How to Track UP e Pass Status?

After you have successfully applied for the UP ePass, you can check and track the ePass from time to time to check whether it has got approved or not so that you can download it accordingly. Here are the steps that you need to follow to track UP ePass.

Step – 1 – Once again visit the official website at rahat.up.nic.in.

Step – 2 – Click on the option of ePass on the homepage that will take you to another page on another tab.

Step – 3 – Here, you have to click on the option of Track Your Application that will be available on the top tab of the home page.

Step – 4 – You will be directed to a new page again on a new tab to track your application.

Step – 5 – Here you have to provide the registration number that you have received after successfully applying for your ePass.

Step – 6 – Next, you have to provide the mobile number that you have provided while applying for the ePass.

Step – 7 – Now finally, click on the option of Search Your Application.

If your application is processed and has been accepted then you will be able to download your ePass from here itself. But if the authorities do not find your application reason to be valid or worthy, they might reject it and this will come up on the screen, after which you will have to apply once again if it is very urgent.

  • Though the lockdown duration is still 31st May 2021, the State Government can extend it soon depending upon the severity of the situation in the state.
  • Candidates who have booked slots for vaccination can move during the lockdown with the documentation of the vaccination and a valid identity proof card.
  • Anyone found not abiding by the rules of the lockdown will have to face strict consequences.
  • The approval or the rejection of the ePass application will depend upon the reasons that the applicant is offering in the application.
  • Even if you have a UP ePass, you should carry a proper identity card issued by the Government of India.
