BIMS Login 2024 – Bill Information and Management System or better known as BIMS is an initiative taken by the Kerala Government for maintaining the treasuries. The Finance Department launched this e-billing system for maintaining the treasuries operation in an efficient way. The Drawing and Disbursing Officers maintain BIMS to keep track of several activities such as contingent bills, staff salaries, and many other financial activities.

So, BIMS has turned out to be an efficient portal mainly for the management of bills in the system. This article will explain in detail the BIMS features along with the registration and login into BIMS.

BIMS DDO Registration/ Renewal

You cannot log into the BIMS portal with a valid DDO. In order to do so, you have to complete the process of DDO registration or renewal. Here are the steps that you can follow for BIMS DDO Registration/ Renewal.

  1. The very first thing that you need to do is to visit the website: https://bims.treasury.kerala.gov.in/.
  2. Now you have to click on the option of DSR Registration/ Renewal. You can find it quite easily as it will be displayed boldly in the centre of the screen in red colour.
  3. Next, a pop-up window will come up where you have to provide your DDO code along with your PEN.
  4. Click on the Next option and then follow the instructions to complete the entire registration process.

In order to login into BIMS, you have to follow the below steps given here:

  1. The only way to login is to visit the official website that you can do by clicking on the link https://bims.treasury.kerala.gov.in/.
  2. A page will come up where you need to provide your username that will be a DDO code of 10 digits.
  3. Next, you have to enter the password.
  4. Now select the role from the dropdown menu offered in the next section.
  5. After this, you have to offer the captcha code that is displayed on the screen.
  6. After completing all these methods, you have to click on the login option.

In case if you have forgotten the password, you can reset your password. But for doing so, you have to send a request to the Sub-treasury officer.

Adding Account in TSB BIMS Portal

If you wish to add your account to the TSB BIMS Portal, here are the steps that you can conveniently follow.

  1. Visit the BIMS portal.
  2. Now log into your BIMS portal using your DDO and password.
  3. After you enter into your profile, you have to click on the option of TSB and then on the option of add a TSB account.
  4. Here you have to add the required details such as account name, account number, account types, and whatever else is coming up.
  5. Now finally click on the option of Submit to complete the process.

BIMS Features

There are so many features that the BIMS offers to its users. Here are some of the important features of the BIMS.

  • It helps in generating the contingent bills.
  • It offers a look at the bill book as well as the bill status.
  • It also offers a look at the expenditure report that the Drawing and Expenditure Officers prepare. But this can be seen only on login.
  • The TR 59E can be submitted online through this portal.
  • It is through this portal only that the DDOs approve the TR 59E.
  • There are no POC in the BIMS contingent bills.
  • This portal helps in State Budget integration and also for accounts of expenditure and income.
  • BIMS offers the opportunity of a paperless contingent bill allotment process.
